In St. Louis there’s a group of journalists by the name of “Real STL News”. They stream live on social media every day to cover stories about breaking news and homicide cases in our city.
Real STL News informs people about their community in an attempt to lower the homicide percentage rate. They have a large following on social media and they stream live to raise awareness about important happenings.
When asked if she followed Real STL News and if she felt that they were a credible source, Ms. Goff replied, “Yes I follow them, they occasionally jump the gun with information, but that can always happen in journalism. There is true value in live, authentic journalism”.
